Leland Ogden Sheets Obituary
In loving memory of Leland Ogden Sheets of Washington, Utah, who departed this world on August 1, 2025 at the age of 91. Leland Ogden leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland B. Sheets and Ina O. Sheets; his lifelong sweetheart Lois; and his brother Robert Sheets. He is survived by: his children, Annie (Ron), Mervis, Roger Sheets (Vivian) of St. George, UT, Nola Peacock (Brent) of Jackson, WY, Karen Ipson (David) of St. George, UT, Emily (Traver), Maxwell of Aurora, CO and Jana Pace (Adam) of Hurricane, UT; and his sister Kathryn Schramm of Highland, UT. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and dear friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hurricane Heritage Chapel (1178 S 700 W, Hurricane, UT 84737). A graveside service was held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM.
