Clarissa Jordan Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clarissa Jordan (Vernon, Vermont), born in Crouseville, Maine, who passed away on October 22, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, George Fredrick (Fred) and Avis Crouse Flewelling; her spouse Glenwood C. Jordan; her daughters, Debbie, Jan Nowe (Edward) of South Portland, ME and Andi Burks (Bruce) of Vernon, VT.; her grandchildren, Scott Kadey, Glen Nowe, Bethany Chapman and Blythe Hutchins; her great grandchildren, Naomi Chapman and Ivy Hutchins; and her siblings, Anna Newton and Erwin Flewelling. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vernon Advent Christian Homes, 61 Greenway Drive, Vernon, VT.

“Jan and Andi, Just learned of your mother's passing yesterday at about the time of her service. So sorry for your loss. I remember your mother and dad so very well from both Alton Bay and the years that I attended and was a member of the Portland Advent Christian Church.
