We bid farewell to Chaplain LeRoy Kiemele of Bremerton, Washington, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 20, 2025 at the age of 88. Chaplain LeRoy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Kiemele and Carolina Kiemele; and his siblings, Emanuel Kiemele, Edward Kiemele, Fred Kiemele, Anne Rocholl, Albert Kiemele, William Kiemele, Ruth Pudwill and Erwin Kiemele.

He is survived by: his children, Laurie McFadden (Jim), Kevin Kiemele, Shelley Koeppen (Todd) and Karyn Gunderson (Garrett); his grandchildren, Sarah, Kaleigh and Jaclyn McFadden; his children, Madelaine, Josiah Koeppen, Naomi and Olivia Gunderson; and his siblings, Caroline Weishair, Ray Kiemele and Violet Walther. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Parkinson's Foundation.

“My name is Mike Mowrey, currently living in Rogers, AR. I was a Chaplain Asst and served with Chaplain Kiemele at Walter Reed Army Hospital from 1974-1977. Chap Kiemele lived the Word he preached.. He was kind, gentle, open to people and consistent. He had that nature that was so clearly indicative of his peace, purpose, presence and power he had to live life walking daily with Jesus. I was privileged by his selection to be his Asst at the Forest Glen section of WRAMC. Lord give you His hope.”
