We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2025, at the age of 93, Martha Catherine Baltz of Bremerton, Washington passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Martha Catherine Baltz to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Cowan and Nellie Cowan; her husband Jack Baltz; her son Chris; and her nephew Pete.

She is survived by: her children, Bill Baltz (Patty), Tim Baltz (Amiko), Jackie Won (Tony), Michael, Brenda, Curtis Jean and Sandy Sue; and her grandchildren, Candace, Adrienne, Wesley, Evan, Justin, Sami, Trever, Steven, Chris and Louis. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the **Alzheimer's Foundation** in Catherine's honor.

I am forever grateful for her loving and artful teaching of piano lessons to our 2 daughters, Starlet and Ananda Jacobs, during their high school years `1997-99. They both went on to earn degrees in music, playing several instruments and composing music. Mrs Baltz always liked to say "Awesome!" for encouragement. We loved that. She was and still is a beautiful and positive influence on our girls' lives. Thank you.”
