He was predeceased by: his father Emil Henslin; his wife Carolyn Henslin; his siblings, Leonard (Doris), Robert Henslin (Evelyn) and Venetta Jeske (Leonard); and his great grandchild Ankhesenamun.

He is survived by: his children, Darcy Duchatschek (Daryl), Bradley Henslin (Bridgette Burmeister), Brian Henslin (Elizabeth) and Shawn Henslin (Angie); his grandchildren, Jennifer Mortimer (Richard), Amanda Duchatschek, Lucas (Julia), Noah, Mason, Blake, Alexya, Ava, Alana and Abram Henslin; and his great grandchildren, Felicity, Feival and Charlie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
