He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Kohnke and Kathryn Kohnke (Schuhart); his brother Bruce Kohnke; his parents-in-law, Alois and Dorothy Haidlinger; his siblings-in-law, Susan and James; and his great-niece Terri Texeira (Grant).

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Haidlinger of John's Catholic Church; his grandchildren, Justin Hable, Meghan Archer (Isaac), Jacob Kohnke, Anna Tunstall (Randy), Brendan Guenther (Tami) and McKenna Guenther; his great grandchildren, Nikolai, River Archer, Tommy and Gabriel Tunstall; Ronald Thrash.

Tony dealt with Dementia/Alzheimer's for years with the support of his loving family by his side.
