She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Sheveland and Ruth Sheveland (Larsen); her husband John Brown; and her brothers, Leroy Sheveland (Elaine), Earl Sheveland (Darlene), Gordon Sheveland (Delores), George Sheveland (Marcia) and Richard.
She is survived by: her children, Phillip Brown (Lynn), Susan Dignan (Stephen), Shari Rantala (Steven), Sandi Spence (Stephen) and Sarah Rutledge (Steven); her grandchildren, John Brown, Jeffrey Brown (Stephanie), Stephan Ryder (Audrey), Elizabeth Liu (Michael), David Dignan (Renee), Kyle Dignan (Danielle), Peter Dignan, Matthew Dignan (Fiona), Quintin Dignan, Jackson Rantala, Michael Spence (Ashley), Lauren Miller (Zach), Emily Spence, Josiah Rutledge, Lucy Rutledge, Elijah Rutledge and Noah Rutledge; and her great grandchildren, Charlotte, Caleb, Ivy, Henry, Madilyn, Emersyn, Cyrus, Asher, Scarlett and Tommy.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the day care at MillCity Church in Bernice's memory.
