With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Burleigh R. McCarthy of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 2, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester McCarthy and Esther McCarthy (Missal); his son Gary; his siblings, Homer, Merwin, Chester Jr., Darryl, Geraldine Kienast, Betty Losse and Gail Miller; his grandchildren, Nathan and Nicole; and his former wives, Jean and Mary.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl; his brother Dennis of Galena; and his children, Michael of Sturgeon Bay, Linda Volkman (Rick) of Palmer, AK and Sandy Negendank (Scott) of Oshkosh. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, also nieces, nephews and cousins.
