It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Joan Helmer of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, born in Neenah, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 23, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest "Ernie" Glasshoff and Nelda Glasshoff; her mothers-in-law, Carol and Fern Helmer; her sister Lyla; her siblings-in-law, Ozzie Hanold, Robert, DuWayne, Dave Helmer, Dave Grainger, JoAnn Grainger and Judy Clere; her daughter Pattie Berndt; and her sons-in-law, Keith Schrank, Dennis Berndt and Jerry Rebeck.
She is survived by: her sister Judy Poisson (Guy); her daughters, Deb Jungwirth (Steve), Sharon Schrank, Sue Green (Bob) and Laura Rebeck; her grandchildren, Jeremy Jungwirth (Erin), Amanda Bernal (Russ), Stacey Jungwirth, Joshua Berndt (McKenzie), Ryan Berndt (Katie LaCombe), Danielle Canchola, Stephanie Brooks (Greg), Robbie Gorschels, Corey Berndt (Rachel Davis), Linsey Schrank and Matthew Rebeck; and her siblings-in-law, Char Zielieke (Jeff), Ben Helmer (Virginia Wodjac) and Norm Helmer (Anne). She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
