He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence Seibold and Charlotte Seibold (Oelschlager); his wife Karen A. Kroening; his siblings, Carol Esslinger and Stanley Seibold; his siblings-in-law, Joseph Esslinger and Gloria Kroening; his grandson Shannon Clark Showers; and his nephews, Ted and Norbert "Trip" Kroening III.

He is survived by : his former life partner Helen Sitzberger; his uncle Champ Clark Seibold; his daughters, Kellie Showers (Mark) and Carrie Roland (Daniel); his great grandchildren, Nichole (Steven II), Rylee, Steven III, Casper, Chelsea (Santo), Sophia Morales and Ryan Showers; his siblings-in-law, Carol Seibold, Bonnie Olson (Robert) and Norbert Kroening II; and his nieces and nephews, Lisa, Pam, Sutton Seibold, Michael, Paul Esslinger, Mark and Lance Olson. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fiss & Bills-Poklasny Funeral Home (865 S Westhaven Dr, Oshkosh, WI 54904). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Oshkosh Animal Shelter.
