He is survived by: his parents, Kevin Joseph McBride and Kayla Lynn McBride (Tyson); his brother Finley; his grandparents, Douglas, Laura Tyson, Jeff and Mary McBride; his aunts and uncles, Lindsey Tyson (Lachlann), Erin Hensler (Jason), Theresa Fryjoff (Ryan), Spencer Tyson and Ryan McBride; his cousins, Elise, Oliver, Leah and Jacob; and his pet Mathe. He is also survived by many classmates and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in Cooper's honor.
