He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Carpenter and Helen Carpenter (Coats); his sister Jeane Verkuilen; and his parents-in-law, Henry and Eleanore Felker.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Felker; his children, Andrea and Katy; his grandchildren, Marlee Rose Misco, Dominic Mueller, Eleanore Duzinske, Henry, Hazel and Charlotte Carpenter; his pet Wynston; his siblings-in-law, Tom Verkuilen, Ron Felker and Diane Ducklow (Tom); his aunt Beverly Coats; his nephew Tim Verkuilen; and his niece Amy Struensee (Billy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dan can be made to the Langlade County Humane Society in Antigo, WI.
