She was predeceased by: her parents, Rubert Sommer and Judith Sommer (Anderson); her spouse Laroy Gilbertson; and her stepfather Russell Hanson. She is survived by: her children, Bryan Gilbertson (Lynn), Laurie Fashingbauer (Dave), Debora Burt (Rick) and David Gilbertson (Melissa); her grandchildren, Derek Gilbertson, Andrea Gilbertson, Kyle Gilbertson (Amber), Melissa Burt, Tanya Burt and Kevin Burt; and her great grandchildren, Skyler, Amara, Willow Gilbertson and Olivia Burt.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Martin Luther Church (436 S Lake St, Neenah, WI 54956). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Martin Luther Lutheran Church (436 S Lake St, Neenah, WI 54956).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in her name.
