He was predeceased by: his parents, William Behrend and Josephine Behrend (Yanko); his wife Marilee; his brother Steven; his brother-in-law Richard Schmidt; and his son Bobby.

He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Behrend (James Mall), Justin Antonakis, David Behrend, Cassie Koch (Kelley), Katilyn Kleveno (Randy Howie) and Ariel Correll (James); and his sisters, Susan Schmidt and Patty Schneider (Gary). He is also survived by 15 Grandchildren, one great-grandchild, along with many other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for Dave.
