He is survived by: his children, Dana J. Mayer, David G. Mayer Jr. (Amanda) and Kerrie J. Mayer (Kelvin Smith); and his grandchildren, Kyleigh R. Robbins, Aurora J. Smith and David G. Mayer III. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
