He was predeceased by: his father Leonard R. Boss; his brother Douglas R. Boss; his grandparents, Peter, Muriel Boss, Joseph and Anna Laub; and his godparents, Pudge and Leroy Lamoureux.

He is survived by: his mother Catherine Boss of Appleton, WI; his siblings, Debra Tuttle (Bill) of Neenah, WI and Dori Fadness (Rob) of Eau Claire, WI; and his sister-in-law Jo Boss of Manitowoc, WI. He is also survived by his 12 nieces and nephews and 16 great nieces and nephews.
