He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Sr. Kollmann and Leona Kollmann (Weber); his grandson Sean David Kollmann; his siblings, Annabele Winn (Sperry) and Frank Kollmann Jr.; and his in-laws, Rutherford and Margaret Butt.

He is survived by: his wife Joan Kollmann; his sons, Dave Kollmann (Linda), Dennis Kollmann (Alisa) and Daniel Kollmann (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Justine Wolf, Jordan Kollmann (Emily), Hannah Kollmann (Mo Dosky), Emily Kollmann (Emmi Nievinski), Jonah Kollmann and Lucy Kollmann; his great grandchild Chloe Kollmann; his brother James Kollmann (Marlene); and his sister-in-law Donna Kollmann.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established for Martin Luther School.
