He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Mayer and Florence Mayer; and his wife Doreen Mayer. He is survived by: his former wife Elizabeth Heus (Betty) of New Holstein, WI; his brother Peter Mayer (Doreen Kopp); his nephews, Derek Mayer (Jessica) and Christopher Justin Mayer (Miranda); his niece Ginger Hoffman (Pete); his stepson Brandon Koehl; and his grandchildren, Natalie, Evelyn, Jacob, Madelyn, Jax, Theodore and Silas.
