He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Kaltenbach and Amelia Kaltenbach (Lautenschlager); his wife Betty Kaltenbach; his son Michael Kaltenbach; and his siblings, Richard Kaltenbach (Barbara) and Joan Kinderman (Dennis).
He is survived by: his children, Suzanne Ritschke (Wayne), Tim Kaltenbach (Jane) of Oshkosh, WI and Lori Helstrom (John) of Omro, WI. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; he is further survived by nieces and nephews.
