He was predeceased by: his parents, Alanson F. and Mary B. Smith; his children, Andrew and Mary Ann; and his siblings, Pauline Lintott, Lois Harmeson and William Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Williamson; his children, Julie Spanbauer (George Thada), Jonathan Smith (Haley Atkinson) and Richard Smith; and his granddaughter Madyson Smith. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to St. Thomas Church.
