He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Hielsberg (Alma) and Alma Hielsberg; his wife Judith Hielsberg; his son Steven Hielsberg; and his siblings, Arnold Hielsberg, Robert Hielsberg, Gordon Hielsberg and Ruth Gerth.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Hielsberg (Dana) and Beth Dahlke (Jeff); his sister Lucille Koch; and his grandchildren, Adam, Taylor and Brandon.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Riverside Cemetery (1901 Algoma Blvd, Oshkosh, WI 54901).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made out to Waterford Community Food Pantry 455 S. Jefferson St. Waterford, WI 53185.
