He was predeceased by: his parent Ann Troxell Voelker; his wife Helen V. Troxell; his siblings, Ray and Mary Jane; and his children-in-law, Sarah Troxell and Jim Williamson.

He is survived by: his children, Gary Troxell and Tina Troxell Williamson; his grandchildren, Laura Laster (Jesse) and John Troxell (Daria Potapova); his great grandchildren, Matthew and Kate Laster; and his siblings, Jerry Voelker, Tom Voelker, Sharon Weisheipl (Tom) and Connie Stelsel (Dave).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church and Lourdes Academy.
