Frances C. Bauer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances C. Bauer of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 22, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence Bauer; her brothers, Dr. Dewey Allen Jr. and Harold Allen; and her parents, Dewey Allen and Frankie Allen (Autry).
She is survived by: her children, Fran, Greg Bauer of Seattle, WA, Nancy Ottman (Jim) and Lisa McKinney (Dave); her granddaughters, Rebecca Ottman (Steven Hawkins), Carrie Bernier (Brett) and Marissa Bauer of Seattle, WA; her great grandchildren, Emily, Madeline, Esme and Rye; and her sister Agnes McCuin of Little Rock, AR.
If Fran didn't have a book in her hand, likely there was a crochet hook or knitting needles—and there is proof of that all across the city of Oshkosh from the many pieces she donated and sold at church fundraisers.
