He was predeceased by: his parents, William Meyer and Leota Meyer (David); and his stepfather Byron Adams. He is survived by: his wife Leslie Gunz; his children, Scott Meyer, Cathie Books and Carrie Leschke; his brother Alan Meyer; and his grandchildren, Amanda Anderson, Sam Meyer, Michael, Rachel and Ashley Leschke. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
