He was predeceased by : his father Herbert Egmont Dieckmann; his stepmother Irene Dieckmann; his mother Eunice Cleo Snerly; and his in-laws, Raymond Sr. and Margaret Rank.
He is survived by : his wife Beverly Dieckmann; his children, Heidi Larson (Bob) and Greg Dieckmann (Anjum); his grandsons, Zach Larson (Kelsey Schmitz), Caleb Larson (Erin Eggert Larson), Ethan Dieckmann (Gabe Neuman) and Ajay Dieckmann; his great grandchild Atley Jo Larson; his brother Raymond; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Rank. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
