He is survived by: his children, Mary Bayens (Matt), Eric Johnson (Laura Johansen) and Sue Schumerth (Jeff); his grandchildren, Hannah Tupas (Jan-Michael Vincent), Fletcher Bayens, Calvin and Tyler Schumerth; his sister Margaret Maxel; his close friends, Tom Smeeton and Tom Flahrety; and his pets, Wolfee and Serdchik. He is also survived by many niece and nephews.
