She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Schroeder and Marie Schroeder (Duescher); her husband Carl Strum Jr.; her siblings, Clarence Schroeder, David Schroeder, Richard Schroeder, Betty Leichtfuss, Delores Reckelberg, Catherine Schaefer, Alvina Stadler, Arline Hoeft and Jerry Schroeder; and her sister-in-law Mary Jo Dewing.

She is survived by: her daughter Susan Crowe (Thomas Seaman); her grandchildren, Jordan Crowe (Whitnie), Triston Seaman (Katrina Mleziva) and Mackena Seaman (Bryson Olson); her great grandchildren, Charlotte and Asher Crowe; and her siblings, Robert Schroeder (Colleen), John Schroeder (Bonnie), Joyce Krepline (Willie) and Shirley Roeder.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
