Raatz (Schluter); his wife Virginia Sobojinski (Gena); and his siblings, Ruby Soberiski, Alice Patten (Ray), Dora Wedde (Harold), Harvey Raatz (Shirley), Edna Peterson (Pete), Carl Raatz (Eleanor), Robert Raatz (Millie), Margaret Schlagel (Wallace), Donald Evans and Shirley Turner (Eldon).
He is survived by many nieces and nephews.
