James J. Balza Obituary
The passing of James J. Balza in Oshkosh, Wisconsin leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 7, 2025 at the age of 85. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Balza and Geraldine Balza (Miller); his wife Susan Balza; his mother-in-law Margaret Baker (Stanley); and his sister Judy Koch.
He is survived by: his children, Tracie Schlaak (Dennis), Amy Walczak (Mike) and Lee Goetz (Frank); his grandchildren, Owen Rice (Rachel), Evan Rice (Olivia), Molly Schlaak, Samuel Schlaak, Preston Goetz (Abby), Payton Goetz (Carlie), Amy Gonzales (Jesse) and Melissa Thompson (Chris); his great grandchildren, Brynn, Blake, Evelynn, Emmitt, Elainna, Abel, Liam, Brantley, Charlie, Sienna, Zachary, Braiden and Brynlee; and his sister-in-law Patricia Adamson (Harry). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:45 PM and at 5:45 PM at the Seefeld Funeral Home (1025 Oregon St, Oshkosh, WI 54902). The military honors will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
