With solemn reverence, we commemorate James Dyer (Oshkosh, Wisconsin), whose life came to an end on May 16, 2025 at the age of 79, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dyer and MaryAnn Dyer (Charlson); and his parents-in-law, Norman and Mildred "Toots" Smith of Wausaukee, WI. He is survived by: his wife Norma Jane Smith; his sons, Steve (Christa) of Lake Elmo, MN and Nate of Oshkosh; his grandchildren, Anna and Emmett Dyer; his sister Kathy Miller (Richard) of Madison, NC; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Smith (Barbara), Gary Smith, JoAnn Schlies and Marge Smith. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Jim requested any memorials be directed to Shriner's Children's Hospital, Oshkosh Community Foundation or Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church of Oshkosh.
