She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Ochsner and Clara Ochsner (Traudt); her husband Erv; her siblings, Donald, Milton, Gerald Ochsner, Aldine Griess and Ramona Linblad; her parents-in-law, Roy and June Schmude; and her sister-in-law Betty Loos (Schmude).
She is survived by: her children, Candy Luce (Warren), Cheri Reese and AJ Schmude (Deanna); her grandchildren, Becky Mueller, Jenny Case (Jeremy), Chrissy Reese, Colby Schmude and Grayson Schmude; and her great grandchildren, Gibson Mueller, Frehley Mueller, Marshall Mueller and John Case. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (8 S 4th St, Winneconne, WI 54986). A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial for Jan has been established with St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Winneconne.
