He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Yurek and Mary Yurek; his son Joel Lee Yurek; his siblings, Carol Pierret, Jerome Yurek and Lawrence Yurek; his brothers-in-law, Jack Nagel and Brian Pierret; his nephews, Daniel E. Veraghen and Daniel Yurek Jr.; his niece April Veraghen; and his great-nephew Damien Veraghen.
He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Yurek; his stepson Joshua; his siblings, Daniel Yurek (Darlene), Rosemary Pirlott (Roland), Jean Veraghen (Dan), Robert Yurek (Debbie), Kenneth Yurek (Celeste), James Yurek (ManLinn), Tina Nagel and Lori Yurek (Scott VanderSande); his sisters-in-law, Sue Pierret, Mary Jo Yurek and Kathy LaFontaine; and his pet Niko. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
