She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Swalley and Louise Swalley (Chivale); her husband Wayne Strey; and her sisters, Anne Currier, Sr. (Ernie), Mary Carla and Louise Davis.

She is survived by: her sons, Daniel Strey (Julie) and James Strey (Connie); her grandchildren, Jake Strey (Tessa), Nicole Parker (Daniel), Courtney Manteufel (Josiah), Jack Strey, Ashley Lewis (Chip), Kyle Radke (Dawn) and Brittany Griep (Andrew); her sister Mary Lou; and her siblings-in-law, Al Jaeger, Jane Mcdonald, Phyllis Jaeger (Alfred), Loretta Strey, Dorothy Strey, Marcella Boldt, Virgina Strey, Ralph J. Strey, John D. ''Jack'' Strey, Gerald McDonald and Ervin Boldt. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren and many special nieces, nephews and countless special friends.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
