He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Brusda and Bernice Brusda; his brother Pat Brusda; and his friends, Kip Kitzerow, Eric Richter, Neil, Bonnie Braun, Gib and Bonnie Losse.
He is survived by: his wife Jan Brusda; his children, James Heroux (Angie), Lisa Carns (Chris), Shannon Braun (Nathan) and Alex Brusda (Rachel); his grandchildren, Olivia (Caden Brunell), Hilary Heroux, Collin, Eddie Carns, Penelope, Arlo, Fiona Braun, Calvin, Myles and Brynn Brusda; his sister Gloria; his siblings-in-law, Glen Jahnke and Barb Brusda; and his close friends, Dean, Renee Kaufert, Gail Henschel, Jeff Block, Geoff Penn, Don Gallenberger and Gary Brusky.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church Endowment Fund or the National Cancer Institute (NCI). Those interested in supporting continued research on hepatic artery infusion pump (HAIP) therapy, which benefited Ken during his treatment, may contact his family for information on making a direct donation.
