Marianne Kettelhut Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on August 31, 2025, at the age of 95, Marianne Kettelhut (Oshkosh, Wisconsin) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Smira and Anna Smira; her brother Robert Smira; her husbands, Donald Butcher of Stevensville and Karl Kettelhut; and her stepchildren, Donald Kettelhut and Beverly Kettelhut.

She is survived by: her daughter Mary Butcher (Charles Putzer); her grandchildren, Anna Bechner (Putzer), Thomas, Joseph and Mark Putzer; her great grandchildren, Lofton Putzer and Ethan Bechner; and her stepdaughters, Cassie, Mary Lou and Peggy Kettelhut. She is also survived by step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Marianne donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, https://www.stjude.org., and the American Cancer Society in memory of her mother.
