Marshall John Proehl Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marshall John Proehl of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 12, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Frederick Proehl and Ruth Proehl Nimmer (Lauterbach); and his stepfather Oscar Nimmer. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Proehl of Oshkosh; his daughter Jodi Plagge (Phillip) of West Allis; his granddaughter Analeis Plagge of West Allis; his son Erik Proehl (Laura Koehn) of Mayville; his grandson Chance Proehl (Aly Niehans) of Oshkosh; and his brother David Nimmer of St. Paul, Minnesota. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Marshall's name may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
