He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcel Ruedinger and Gertrude Ruedinger (Ratajczak). He is survived by: his wife Sue Ruedinger; his children, Deborah Curtis (Rob) of Barrington, Illinois, Wayne Ruedinger (Elena) of Puyallup, Washington and Rebecca Gafner (Douglas II) of Oshkosh; and his grandchildren, Bradley Curtis (Christine), Aaron Curtis (Samantha), Benjamin Curtis (Danielle), Mitchell Ruedinger, Allen Ruedinger (Melissa), Jahni Hazen (Jon), Douglas Gafner III, Sophia Gafner and Jessica Gafner. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
