He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Wirth and Elisabeth Wirth; and his siblings, Martin Jr. and Elizabeth. He is survived by: his wife Rosa Neumeier; his sons, Matthew Wirth (Linda) and Mark Wirth (Cynthia); his grandchildren, Nicole Buckoski (Andrew), Terri Schutz (Kyle), Megan Regal (Nate) and Wesley Wirth; and his great grandchildren, Briauna, Bennett, Lennon, Maddox, Knox, Logan and Griffin. He is also survived by brother-in-law and sister-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
