It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mavis Anderson of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, born in Watertown, South Dakota, who passed away on January 17, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Ted Bjorklund; her husband Floyd Anderson; her brother Maynard Bjorklund; and her brothers-in-law, Dean Gackstetter and Lee Carey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gail Knier (Michael) and Janise Bader (Marty); her grandchildren, Jeffrey Knier (Carlene), Alyssa O'Brien (Grant), Brianna Bader, Steven Knier (Zan), Greg and Tony Bader; her great grandchildren, Rylan, Layne, Ashton O'Brien, Jackson, Avery, Mason, Porter and Zoey Knier; and her sisters, Ardy Gackstetter and Joan Carey.
Memorials can be directed to the American Diabetes Association, the Alzheimer's Association, or to St. Andrew's Lutheran Church in memory of Mavis.
