Michael touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid Michael farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Michael is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Metcher and Elaine Metcher of Appleton, WI.. He is survived by: his children, Erin Metcher, Nikolas Metcher and David Gendron; his grandchildren, Jack Kohl and Juniper Metcher; his siblings, Linda Sommers (Mike), Nikki Renard-Blixt (Tom), Tina Ottone (Mark) and Phil Metcher (Julie); and his close friend Debbie Gendron. He is also survived by friends, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (222 E Fremont St, Appleton, WI 54915). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
