He is survived by: his friend Milo; his wife Debra; his children, Jason Zarling (Theresa Newman), Adam Medley (Becky), Allen Medley (Katie) and Valerie Zarling (George Rehfeld); his siblings, James Zarling and Linde Andresen (Robert); and his grandchildren, Hope, Faith, Brendan and Grace.
