Nathan James Briese Obituary

Nathan James Briese, age 37, passed away unexpectedly on August 2nd, 2023. Son of Steve and Connie Briese, he was born on August 30th, 1985 in Oshkosh.

Nathan grew up in Green Lake and loved fishing and playing basketball. He worked as a chef at many restaurants throughout his life and thrived in that atmosphere; he truly loved to cook! When he wasn't in the kitchen, you could find him at a poker table, playing pool, throwing darts, or joining in on a game of horseshoes; all with a Bud Light in his hand. Nathan's greatest joys in life though were his children. Those that knew him knew he would do anything for any of his kids. He was always there for them and was an amazing dad! He was also a loving son, brother, & husband and will be greatly missed by all of his family.

He is survived by his wife Allix Briese of Oshkosh, parents Steve & Connie Briese of Ripon, sister Hilary Briese (Andy Mathes) of Oshkosh, his 8 children (Cameron, Mackenzie, Chase, Carter, Kaysen, Devin, Sophia, and Sawyer), Grandma Betty Rogers of Oshkosh, many Aunts & Uncles, and so many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Grandparents Kenneth Rogers and Ervin & Caroline Briese, Uncle Ronald Briese, and Aunt Debbie Rogers.

In lieu of a funeral service, the family will hold a private memorial for immediate family.
