He was predeceased by: his parents, George Joseph Harper and Mary Ann Harper (O'Neil); his siblings, John William Harper, Gene Walter Harper and Judy May Harper (Hanson); his half-brother David Jakubowski; his niece Jerilyn Harper; his grandmother Minnie Harper (Ruske); his aunt Doris Harper (Van Dun); and his uncles, Walter Harper and Clarence Harold Harper.
He is survived by: his brother George Charles Harper; his sister-in-law Carol Harper; his niece Michelle Angell (Sean); his brother-in-law Jeffery Hanson; his nephews, Matt Harper, Jeffery J. Hanson, Jason Harper and David Loiselle; and his cousin Sandy Farwell (Van Dun). He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the Lions Eye Bank.
