He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Betty Root (Jewel); his wife Cindy Root; his mother Betty Jewel of Duncan, OK; his sister Tammy Prince of Duncan, OK; his children, Ronya Dehn of Oshkosh, Kenneth Root (Tiffany Turner) of Oshkosh and Glenn Root of Oshkosh; his stepchildren, Tisha Leyh of Fond, Lac, Laura Leyh of Appleton and Vernon Oppermann of Oshkosh; his stepsisters, Gloria, Lynn and Lori; his sister Sandy Bates; his stepfather Kenneth Jewel; and his brother Owen Jaggi. He was also cherished by 23 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
