He was predeceased by: his father George Wonser; his wife Carol Zuehlke; and his son Mark Wonser. He is survived by: his children, Timothy (Christa) and Karen Wonser; his grandchildren, Melissa, Anna Mae, Paul Wonser and Aaron Brouillard; his great grandchildren, Elyssa Wonser, Jayden, Arianna, Skylar, Silas, Phoenix, Bennett and Amora Wonser; and his sisters, Maryjo Lurvey and Patty Van Dyke.
