He was predeceased by: his wife Sally Cox; his parents, John Cox and Irene Cox; his sisters, Delores Ford, Joyce Mahr and Patricia Kelley; and his close friends, Gean and Pam Critchlow.
He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Koechell of Oshkosh, Lisa Cox (Sean Murphy) of Oshkosh, James Cox (Margaret) of West Salem, Michael Cox of Vincent and Ryan Cox of Lee's Summit; and his close friends, Sean Murphy, Sue Krause, Doug Koechell and Sue Palcek. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Friday, February 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Lancaster Congregational Church (100 W Cherry St, Lancaster, WI 53813).
