The family announces the passing of Richard Raleigh of Oshkosh, Wisconsin on October 10, 2026. Richard, born on September 15, 1940, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Richard will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Richard by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Richard is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Richard’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ginny; his parents, George Raleigh and Maxine Raleigh (Mohr); his brother-in-law Norbert Schemm; and his pets, Katie and Pepper.
He is survived by: his siblings, Joanne Schemm and George, Jr. Raleigh (Sharon). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Evergreen Retirement Community Chapel (1130 N Westfield St, Oshkosh, WI 54902). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
