He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Cavanaugh and Marian Cavanaugh (Frey); his brothers, James Cavanaugh, Dennis Cavanaugh, Donald Cavanaugh Jr. and Larry Cavanaugh; and his siblings-in-law, Gib Lincoln and Rene Lincoln.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Cavanaugh; his children, Autumn Marks, David Marks and Sean Cavanaugh (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Bryce Marks, Koetyn Bloesl and Brock Cavanaugh; his siblings, Marcia Hoppe (Daryl) and Kevin Cavanaugh (Royann); and his sisters-in-law, Paulette Cavanaugh, Suzie Cavanaugh and Lorrie Thill (Steve). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
