He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Ackermann and Dorothy Ackermann (Busha). He is survived by: his wife Susan Ackermann (Jones); his daughters, Heather Huolihan (Shawn) and Sarah Ackermann; his grandchildren, Adelynn Ackermann-Huolihan and Hayden Ackermann-Huolihan; and his cousin Gary Busha.
