He was predeceased by: his parents, John Epprecht and Dorothy Epprecht (Schmalz); his parents-in-law, Lawrence and Ann Bohmann; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Ashenberg and Stanley Bohmann.

He is survived by: his son Ryan (Jill); his wife Sylvia Bohmann; his son John Epprecht (Melissa); his grandchildren, Aubrey, Graham, Mackenzie and Jordyn; and his siblings-in-law, Wayne Ashenberg, Linda Bohmann and Sally Kiser. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be set up in Ron's name.
